A men's The Scandi Flick is a wearable salon outline built around this geometry: The Scandi Flick: top: medium lengths with blowout volume and outward flick at the ends; sides: face-frame with flick ends; back and nape: medium rear with flicked ends and tidy nape; finish: round-brush flick blowout. Typical length family: medium scandi flick. Front, side, and back should all read the same contract.
Compared with Long Shag, The Scandi Flick uses a distinct cut map. Compared with Long Layers, The Scandi Flick uses a distinct cut map. Choose it if you want that specific outline and can maintain round-brush flick blowout. Pause if you need a completely different length family than medium scandi flick.
Where layers start decides wolf vs hush vs soft movement. Round faces use face-frame layers for vertical lines. Square faces soften with piecey ends. Oblong should not over-thin the crown. Fine hair needs restrained layering.
Straight to wavy hair usually shows this outline clearly. If curl is part of the hero, use definition products rather than forcing a sleek helmet. Fine hair needs restrained layering or a denser perimeter. Thick hair needs controlled weight removal without collapsing the The Scandi Flick shape.
Finish to the cut map: round-brush flick blowout Keep sides and nape intentional so The Scandi Flick does not drift into a neighbor style.
Plan a reshape about every 4–8 weeks, focusing on the hero landing and nape before the cut drifts.
Tell your barber/stylist: men's The Scandi Flick. True The Scandi Flick = medium lengths with blowout volume and outward flick at the ends; medium rear with flicked ends and tidy nape. Avoid: Not a Long Shag silhouette. Not a Long Layers silhouette. Not a Ghost Layers silhouette.
